Dominic is a literary and publishing translator from the Scandinavian languages and German into English. He carried out the first English translations of Daniel Sjölin’s The World’s Last Novel (Världens Sista Roman) and the Swedish feminist writer Nina Björk’s Happily Ever After: On the worth of people and money. He has recently completed translation of the international Swedish thriller Chain of Events and Jesper Weithz’s acclaimed debut novel What Doesn’t Grow Dies, as well as an adaption of Andrzej Tichy’s award-winning novel Kairos for theatre performance in Berlin. Other recent work includes a project with the Scottish playwright David Greig on contemporary adaption of August Strindberg’s The Father for the New York stage and Alexander Gustafsson’s The Mauler. He has also worked as consultant to English language publishers on the Nordic book market.
